I joined Compass Lexecon as a young analyst. A lot of the work product at Compass Lexecon was filed as expert reports in courts and/or presented to regulatory agencies; so, the work required, and I developed analytical and quantitative skills, attention to detail, and communication skills. The teams that I was a part of worked for an array of clients. Some of them included: American Airlines - on its Chapter 11 filing, and its subsequent merger with US Airways; distressed fund - on evaluating the valuation of power generation assets; Pinnacle Airlines - on its Chapter 11 filing, among others.The first few months I worked at the parent company, FTI Consulting.
