Innoventure is the in house corporate window to the start-ups for Tata Steel. We are working with start-ups from around the globe across our entire value chain and moving in direction of becoming the Corporate Venture Capital arm. In addition to CVC, I am currently responsible for the pilots in the area of decarbonisation and sustainability.

Responsible for projects related to digitization and circular economy. Conducted due diligence market research to identify window of opportunities for sustainability related projects. Designed assessment tool to identify maturity levels of different technological trends.

As a part of this project, I worked on analyzing the retail market and identifying the best in class solutions for superior store experiences. After understanding the needs of consumers and their adoption of such offerings, efforts were laid to incorporate the connection of the online and offline business and the use of technologies in brick and mortar stores.

The job responsibility was to ensure manufacturing and process excellence through TQM and various analytical tools in steelmaking facilities. As a part of this role, I was also responsible for cost reduction initiatives under SHIKHAR 25 EBITDA improvement program

My job responsibilities included solving problems arising in the steel-making area from the refractories and metallurgical point of view along with new product development for high-temperature applications. These responsibilities used skills in operations (led team of 20 officers and supervisors) and total quality management to achieve a world benchmark in refractory consumption and cost. I was responsible for leading the team for new refractory product development activities and strategy development through future prediction modeling. I worked as In house consultant for the new materials business and technology development including 3D Printing and carbon fibers in refractory.

Underwent training on: Steelmaking and Casting technology, Total Quality Management, Quality Management Systems, Business Strategy and Planning, Business Ethics, Critical Chain Project Management, Leadership skills (Outdoor leadership Program organised by TSAF).Project Based Learning:1) Analysed reasons of failure of bullnose refractory used in reheating furnace of hot strip mill.During this period, conducted many lab scale refractory tests including analysis of microstructure and thermodynamic modelling. The study was concluded by suggesting use of silicon carbide in the exixting refractory matrix which will reduce the corrosion.- Received highest performance rating for all round excellence.

'Steel Cyclos’, a cycling club under Tata Steel Adventure Foundation. First of its kind club in Jamshedpur aimed at promoting fitness through cycling and sustainable environmental practices; 100 active members and growing.

- Received complete scholarship from POSCO and POSTECH to work as a summer intern for a duration of two months.
