 Feasibility study/Risk assessment of new products of various Needle Roller Bearings like small end cage (KBK) bearings, big end cage (KZK) bearings, cage guided shell (HK,BK,SCE) bearings. Analyzed the product designs against the customer requirements and create design concepts for new products. Design of customer product with 2D drafting, 3D modelling and assembly using CAD software. Working as a NPD coordinator to monitor new development of products and engaged in activities related to new product development. Having knowledge of bearings fits, GD&T, materials used and hardness used for manufacturing of bearings and respective tools. Selection of seal and proper grease used in bearings. Preparation of tool drawings used in the manufacturing of components of bearings. Preparation of gauge drawings for inspecting bearings. Preparation of APQP a/c to ISO/TS16949:2016 Perform pilot test of new product to determine the validity of the design through the manufacturing process, report out, design review and product validation in coordination with shopfloor and production team. Directly deal with marketing/customer for feedback of products and acceptance of products. Using standards, methods, processes and procedures for reviewing, evaluating and inspecting the type of bearings. Preparation of BOM and purchase requisitions. Having knowledge of manufacturing process and process parameter. Working effectively with all levels of employees in cross functional team in manufacturing process and vendors to have reliable and low cost materials. Controlling of BOM and Routing of products through ERP system. Having sound knowledge of Kaizen,5S,Lean Manufacturing,3M, Poka Yoke,Six Sigma,Cause & Effect analysis,CAPA or 8D, Why Why analysis.

Project 1 : Design and Development of Submarine Escape System (SES) upto 100 metres for Indian Navy.Summary: SES enables submariners to safely escape from sunken/ abandoned submarines from 100m depth by free ascent and avoids psychological problems like decompression sickness, nitrogen narcosis and oxygen toxicity.Project 2 : Design and Development of Individual Underwater Breathing Apparatus (IUWBA) for Indian Army.Summary: T90 tanks are capable of deep forging up to 5m depth in order to cross any water channel while deployment. During deep forging if the tank is stuck or engine is stalled then the crew has to flood the tank and escape.
