CurrentIn this leadership role reporting to the COO, I am accountable for organizational culture, employee engagement,employee relationships, compliance, compensation and benefits, talent development, diversity, equity, and inclusion,and recruitment.● Defined organizational culture amidst an influx of new staff by leading efforts to define culture andbehaviors that support our values, which has since been adopted across the organization.● Improved performance management outcomes and staff satisfaction with performance and role claritythrough an equity-focused performance management system overhaul.● Streamlined hiring procedures resulting in 24 filled positions in 2023 with a 45% reduction in time to hireand 56% increase in new hire diversity.● Leveraged Customer Experience and Operational Excellence models across industries to create aproactive employee relations strategy, resulting in a positive shift in the perception of Human Resources.● Implemented change management structures and procedures aligned with organizationaldecision-making structures, and harnessed background in communications to increase clarity andengagement.● Helped the leadership team navigate unionization and have served as one of 4 individuals on thebargaining committee since February 2023, negotiating the first collective bargaining contract.● Fostered close relations with general counsel and 3rd-party PEO to close all compliance exposure andincrease employee knowledge of regulations and policies.● Created a succession planning framework, succession plans for all executive and critical roles, and atalent management strategy to create growth opportunities for high-potential employees.● Partnered with external experts on organizational DEI assessment and a corresponding action plan.Targeted employee engagement demographics to ensure equitable experiences between employees ofdifferent backgrounds.
