I started at Big Brothers in 2007 as the Communications Coordinator who wrote copy for their fundraising initiatives. Since, I have worked my way to Marketing and Communications Manager, responsible for all marketing and communications strategy across the Lower Mainland, Sunshine Coast and Sea to Sky Corridor.I have the pleasure to work with an incredible team of socially conscious people who are passionate about their work. My body of work includes strategy, brand management, crisis communications, media relations and public relations.Each day I am inspired by the mentors who walk through our doors and feel immense personal reward for the part I play.

I wrote articles and case studies for various clients, such as IBM and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Working remotely for the New York based PR firm, I received exposure to large American companies who trusted my writing to represent their brands.

I carried out all communications needs for up to 20 clients at any given time. The position utilized my writing skills and laid an excellent foundation for my future communications career path. I also had the pleasure to coordinate the Kitsilano Soap Box Derby twice, meeting an excellent community of people who were excited to get involved.
