As a Project Engineer I at Timmons Group, I specialize in the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure of solar energy projects. Using Civil 3D, I design site grading plans, ensuring proper drainage, slope stability, and compliance with environmental regulations. Additionally, I have experience developing road grading designs, where I must take into account terrain, soil conditions, and sustainability considerations. I have experience performing earthwork calculations, balancing cut and fill to optimize material usage, reduce cost, and minimize environmental impact. I have personally written and maintained the code for top of pile calculations for solar energy sites. This code is written in the language of Python, and I use the application of Thonny to run it. My code has been used to compute the pile height of hundreds of thousands of solar panel piles across the United States. Furthermore, outside of engineering tasks, I have also led multiple solar energy projects, where I have been responsible with assigning my coworkers with tasks and making sure projects stay on schedule.As a former Civil Engineering student at Texas A&M University, Class of 2023, I have gained experience with industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Word, Python, ETABS, and Revit. I have written lab reports, invoices, and project proposals, all of which showcase my strong communication skills. My structural engineering capstone project displays my understanding of vertical structural engineering projects. My involvement in extracurricular activities display my passion for leadership and teamwork. My experience volunteering demonstrates my commitment to community engagement and social responsibility. I am a very organized, hardworking individual with an eagerness to learn.
