Previous roles include Fundraising Volunteer Coordinator, Progression Coordinator, Vocational Specialist and currently Volunteer Services Coordinator. My professional career has been within the non-profit charity sector and the NHS. I am currently responsible for the recruitment, management and retention of volunteers and the delivery of the volunteer service for The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust that covers 6 Trust locations, 8 GPs and 9 community sites.

Supporting a caseload of service users who had mental health issues either return to work, start work for the first time, find training courses, gain qualifications, functional skills, and voluntary work. I planned and delivered employability sessions and personal development sessions to help gain their confidence in order to move into progression.

Led a project called the Stand Out Project that was run by the West Midlands Combined Authority and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. Street League achieved the partnership to deliver this project alongside 8 other charities and youth engagement organisations across the West Midlands. The project aimed to help young people, aged between 16-30 years old, utilise the opportunities created from the Birmingham Commonwealth Games to help them gain employment, training, education and volunteering work to help bridge the gap in youth unemployment in the Midlands as a direct result of the Commonwealth Games coming to our region. Out of the 9 partners, under my leadership, Street League were the top performing partner, getting the most participants on the project as well as the most positive outcomes for young people. Because of this, we were invited to the volunteer interviews taking place at the Birmingham Library for the Commonwealth Games and had a visit by the Chair of The National Lottery Community Fund, Blondel Cluff which i had to plan a specialised visit and agenda for the day.
