I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science with a Minor in Nutrition and Food Systems at the University of South Carolina. Here, I have been able to engage in a multitude of experiences that have greatly enhanced my knowledge of nutrition and the field of dietetics and public health. I have been an intern for several years with the USC Football Performance Nutrition Team, which has allowed me to work with Performance Dieticians to help properly fuel our athletes and educate them about the importance of nutrition. Additionally, I have been able to work as an undergraduate research assistant at the BRIE Lab, which has allowed me to opportunity to engage in research surrounding public health and weight-loss. After earning my Bachelor's Degree from USC, I plan to pursue a Master's Degree, engage in a Dietetic Internship, and become a Registered Dietician. I am interested in any opportunity that would allow me to learn more about the field of Dietetics and Nutrition and look forward to gaining more experience that will allow me to be a better dietician in the future.
