My role at Portable was fast-paced and multifaceted, ranging from on-the-ground project delivery to strategic direction and decision making within the executive management team. Within this role, my key responsibilities included - - Team wellbeing & development - Production team performance- Resourcing management across the studio of 45- Forecasting & budgeting across the studio- Pipeline management of incoming work- Recruitment- KPI reporting to the board- Project & account management of key accountsSignificant achievements included the introduction of new reporting measures to streamline company-level transparency, unification and growth of the production team, in addition to the introduction of a number of new initiatives to manage the incoming workflow of projects entering the studio.

My primary responsibility was for the execution of our product release content; ensuring that we had the right assets and products, in the right place, at the right time across all our international digital channels - including our main website (Bellroy.com) and a further 13 digital marketplaces. This role covered - - Direct managing a team of 9 (both in-house team, freelance and offshore)- Overseeing localised content creation across 13 platforms and 6 languages.- Managing the online product release process across all channels. - Leading projects and initiatives to improve digital systems, reporting data and streamlining product release processes.Significant achievements include leading a digital transformation project to overhaul our Product Information and Pricing Data structures, resulting in an enormous 80% improvement in our speed to release new products through our proprietary software. These data overhauls provided a new level of accuracy and transparency, allowing cross-functional teams to leverage better information, resulting in fewer marketplace stock-outs globally.

In addition to my full-time roles, between 2016 and 2018 I owned & operated a successful events business, Hello Weddings. This work gave me an exciting opportunity to flex my creative muscles - building a brand from the ground up, closely and highly-collaboratively with couples, and understanding the nature of running projects with physical outputs. This experience honed my business capabilities in strategic decision making, content, marketing, brand, as well as giving me an in-the-deep-end experience in running a lean startup.
