Produce stimulating and learner-focused content, activities, and supplemental material that aid in application, execution and delivery. Collaboratively plan, design, develop and revise for-credit online courses and course materials to meet University and department standards. Identify and communicate contextual best practices for applying teaching and learning theories to curriculum design. Maintain and expand face-to-face and online faculty training, workshop, and seminar offerings. Develop training materials including job aids, online tutorials, and other multimedia materials to assist faculty with instructional design principles and the use of online teaching and learning tools. Recommend effective and creative use of technologies to enhance instruction and create new learning environments. Remain current on and evaluate emerging technologies that have potential value for online teaching and learning. Design, develop and implement evaluation procedures to assess the effectiveness of using technology in teaching and learning processes. Utilize software such as web page development, desktop publishing, image editing and presentation tools to develop custom products to meet user needs. Provide technology support for online teaching and learning products used by faculty, students, and staff.Coordinate or assume other duties or projects as assigned or directed.

Create lessons to teach necessary life skills in technology, college, and career preparation English as a Second Language and GED adult students. Work with students to master their use of a computer and Microsoft Office programs, such as creating formal letters, resumes, basic spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations. Help students master best practices for entering the job force through mock interviews and best practice skills for professionals. Guide students to their next academic or career step through multiple connections within the state.

Attend monthly webinars and discussions in the community of adult educators through Arizona Department of Education. Develop methods to encourage other local educators to more effectively implement technology into their classrooms and lessons.

Create lesson plans to teach English to adults who have moved to the United States from other countries. Adapt lessons and materials to meet the diverse needs of adult learners, while integrating teachings on US Civics, computer skills, as well as college and career readiness skills.

Coach and remediate College of Education future educators to help hone their skills and develop their areas of opportunity. Handle difficult conversations and phone calls on a day to day basis, to help students reach their educational and professional potential.

Responsible for specific state testing and certification requirements to advise College of Education students. Guide them to find resources, help them set personal schedules to ensure all state and University requirements are met by their deadlines. Also responsible for building connections with cooperating school districts to place students for student teaching.

Advise students on academic policies and program requirements, communicate with students to ensure their needs are being met and adequate resources are provided. Responsible for creating and altering student schedules as needed.
