The purpose of the ASES Program is to create incentives for establishing locally-driven expanded learning programs, including after-school programs that partner with public schools and communities to provide academic and literacy support, and safe, constructive alternatives for youth. The ASES Program involves collaboration among parents, youth, and representatives from schools, governmental agencies, individuals from community-based organizations, and the private sector. On a given day my lesson plans are for 16 students but I'm allotted to work with 22 students. My communication is with my coordinator and 5 other classified/certified staff.

Craft businesses are the opposite of mass production, employing a hands-on approach to produce unique items for customers. Occasionally machinery may be used, but often these require operation by a skilled artisan. Retailers may opt to offer customization of products to further cater to customer demand. I have customized items for over 45 clients. I have networked with 50+. I work along side of a graphic designer whos also my marketing specialist.

Children of all ages that I interacted with ranged from 5 years old to 16 and adults between the ages of 20 to 50+ wanted to get back into playing musical instruments. Over 100 families are enrolled and take lessons. Schedule music lessons in-store, online, and over the phone. File out contracts for instrument rentals for the band season. Private repair: fill out the work order and take payments when the instrument it's brought back to the store. File contracts, store invoices, and repair work orders. Also, file PO from Charter schools that we are vendors for. Answer/ Return calls and text messages.

Maintaining filings and records for easy accessibility, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing documents also answering phones, and/or redirecting calls to their appropriate designation. I was responsible for scheduling appointments for all students. There were over 100 families in the program and on a given day I helped over 30 students with paperwork, appointments, etc.Support the work of marketing managers and executives on projects. Organize and scan all newspaper articles for digital archiving purposes. File all hard copies of newspaper articles. Answer the phones when supervisors are out of the office. Answer incoming calls, greet callers, provide information, transfer calls, and/or take messages as necessary.

Re-stoke items and organize the aisle as needed. Maintain the cleanliness of the restroom. Provide excellent customer service which involved me showing where items were. In one day I interacted with 20 or more customers. Answer questions about products, policies, and services.

Maintain all cleaning equipment, and ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products. Perform general sweeping, and mopping of the floors as needed. Keep all public spaces neat and tidy. I did work for 1 private school in Palmdale. I clean up and remove items from 2 families whose loved ones passed. 2 event halls for parties and the clubhouse. I had one family for whom I started cleaning for and stopped in 2019.
