Design Operations is now officially a team of 2!

I work with a multi-disciplinary team of designers, technologists, and strategists to manage product, service, and experience design programs from inception through completion. I am responsible for managing client expectations and ensuring delivery, as well as all aspects of the project life cycle: from diagnosing client needs, managing project teams, scope, and risk, to leveraging the knowledge and creativity of my colleagues, and creating brand, product, and service systems with a distinctly exceptional experience. I lead innovation programs and oversee long-term relationships with clients, helping them ship great products and transform their business. Beyond that, I dive into the work and help craft our approach, conduct design research and validation testing, and even take on product management responsibilities. I am actively contributing to improving the PM practice and processes on a local, regional, and global level.

I wear a lot of hats, handling four separate media campaigns across various divisions and a subsidiary, working with a local creative agency to execute print and online ads and email marketing, as well as internal and external-facing creative work -- trade show & other event graphics, invitations, web design & implementation, package designs, sales tools & collateral, strategy & planning. I interact with all departments at McLane across 40+ nationwide divisions, as well as print vendors, media reps and production houses. I also assist in social media planning and strategy and will be helping launch an entire nationwide campaign from the ground-up. I am learning photography & videography and fine tuning my Final Cut Pro skills, which will work closely with our social media efforts and print and online ad campaigns. Next on the list is web design and After Effects.I am proud to be part of a team of four, handling all marketing and advertising for a $42 billion, B2B company.

- Project manager and Client contact for multiple B2B and technology accounts, including McLane, Dell S&P, Dell OEM, SolarBridge, LifeSize, Intertek, Texas School for the Deaf, PDI, Vantix, Salado Sales, FreightWatch and SAP- Responsible for maintaining project schedules, generating status reports, managing Client requests and monthly billings, writing creative briefs, tracking and monitoring project time and budgets, generating estimates and invoices, biweekly projections, monthly percent complete revenue reports, organizing meetings and working directly with the Creative, Interactive, Production and Media teams to complete various projects- Experience with media planning, campaign management, conducting competitive and social media research and analysis, leading Client conference calls and in-person meetings, selling in creative work to Clients, tracking Client budgets and managing expectations- Active member of the People Team, collaborating with others to maintain a positive workplace, reinforce company culture, and plan and execute monthly employee events, including Summer and Winter parties and the Office Olympics- Intern Program Mentor for students at high school and college levels- Created Agency holiday card video using Final Cut Pro, which was sent out to current and previous Clients and Agency friends

- Collaborated with four other interns to create a Hispanic community initiative for Burger King focused on education, which grew and evolved into a national-bound campaign: “Your Future, Your Way”- Compiled monthly PowerPoint presentations that provided insights on Burger King competitors- Responsible for various administrative duties, including trafficking media, compiling expense reports, organizing billing documents and sending out daily task lists to the team

Collaborated with seven other interns to complete three summer projects: personal business cards, an Agency Newsletter and an integrated campaign for Proctor and Gamble's August Back to School Promotion for Publix, a Florida grocery store chain
