As a Program Coordinator, I oversee CompDrug's Perinatal Outreach and Linkage to Care program. My position is community based and serves to build rapport within the community. This includes building partnerships and collaboration for CompDrug's Pregnancy & Parenting Pathway Program. I engage in 'boots on the ground' outreach to identify pregnant and post-partum women with substance use. I execute a linkage to care program that assists pregnant and post-partum people with connection to Substance Use Disorder treatment, other resources, and support. Another key component of my work is serving as an advocate for mothers with substance use. I sit on various boards, councils, work forces, and coalitions to be a voice for mothers with substance use at the local and state level. I also provide education to organizations surrounding substance use and pregnancy that highlights anti-stigma efforts with this population.

Coordinated services for eligible families with developmentally delayed children ages 0-3 years. Collaborated with Occupational therapists, Physical therapists, Early Intervention Specialist, Speech therapists, and community resources to enhance a child’s development and provide early intervention services.

I provided direct service to eligible mothers and their children ages 0-3 years old. My tasks included developmental screenings, mental health screenings, SMART goal setting, child development information, bonding and attachment activities, and linkage to community resources.
