I am a 3rd year graduate student working in the labs of Prof. Bill Bentley and Prof. Reza Ghodssi, a collaborative effort to design electrochemical sensors for cellular biomarker detection in in vitro systems.

-Rational design of protein constructs to allow for analyte sensing in fMRI experiments-Cloning of plasmids encoding protein contstructs, and subsequent transformation in bacteria and plasmid prep-Protein expression in bacteria, followed by purification by chromatography and SDS-PAGE electrophoresis analysis-Culturing HEK cell line expressing the receptor target of my protein construct, which can verify its function
