I have been collegiate athlete for three years and it has been very educational well beyond academics. As an aspiring coach I have had a a great opportunity to see college coaching first hand. I have learned about leadership from watching my coach as well as holding a leadership role myself. As a psychology major I hope to prioritize mental health for my student athletes. I try to advocate for mental health as much as I can because it is very important that people know they have resources.
