The Department of Social Work Education (DSWE) at Fresno State is committed to the education of social workers at the bachelor's and master's levels who will provide social welfare services and leadership in the central San Joaquin Valley and beyond.Responsibilities:- Greets the public and serves as the department's receptionist, managing all incoming inquiries.- Processes various documents including general correspondence, forms, reports, and mail merges.- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets, input data using Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, and IPT.- Organizing and retaining files, maintaining/updating calendars, and scheduling classrooms and meetings.- Executes general office duties: copying, gathering data, following up on faculty assignments, and running errands.

Responsibilities:- Facilitates inclusive team management and fosters a welcoming environment for individuals of all genders.- Contributes to the planning and coordination of events, magazine production, and website development.- Assists with developing engaging social media content tailored for Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter/X.- Represents the esports program at on- and off-campus events and contributes to both online and offline esports media campaigns.- Writes and edits esports/gaming news related articles for online publication.

The Fresno State Esports Media Team is a group of students at Fresno State who are responsible for creating and managing content related to Esports at the university. They work to promote the school’s Esports program and teams through various forms of media, such as video production, graphic design, social media management, and more.Responsibilities:- Develops creative content ideas and pitches for social media and esports broadcasting.- Primarily focuses on social media management as well as editable video content creation.- Assists with the planning, development, and execution of esports media campaigns.- Assists broadcasting team members by supporting livestreams, showcasing graphics made for stream, providing necessary PR information, and delivering feedback post-stream.- Stays up-to-date on current collegiate esports events and takes part in them.

The California Water Institute is located on the campus of California State University, Fresno and focuses on all aspects of sustainable water resource management solutions through outreach, entrepreneurship, education, testing, and interdisciplinary research. CWI addresses water-related issues by engaging Fresno State's faculty, staff, students, and our collaborative network of water experts.We form teams to pursue current and sustainable water resource management solutions through education, collaboration, and research.Responsibilities:- Collaborated with marketing team on content development for press releases, newsletter articles, and marketing materials.- Crafted engaging written content, such as articles and briefs, derived from existing research.- Adapted research information into clear and reader-friendly content, tailored to diverse audiences.- Represented the California Water Institute to on- and off-campus visitors at Fresno State events.

Established in March 2023, Flourishing Fresno is a student-run publication created to cover local communities, news and events.Flourishing Fresno seeks to amplify the voices and build relationships with local, multicultural communities.Responsibilities:- Created digital content for various social media platforms including Instagram/Facebook, Twitter, etc.- Assisted with creating a social media calendar for the publication's social media accounts per month.- Kept up with interaction analytics via social media apps.- Developed and distributed creative briefs (ex. style guidelines and expectations for content).- Designed website layout and overall vibe of the front page as well as singular articles.- Kept up with site analytics via Google Analytics app (i.e. SEO, clicks, etc.) and Wordpress stats.

Oakland Recording is the only independent Official Avid Learning Partner in the Bay Area, offering all levels of Pro Tools certifications: User, Operator, & Expert in both Music Production & Post Production.Intern Responsibilities:- Collaborated with the Director of Content Strategy in creating the social media calendar and digital content for various social media platforms/company website.- Developed and distributed creative briefs including essential product messaging, style guidelines, and expectations with regard to content deliverables.- Solely redesigned the Facebook and LinkedIn banners for the company.- Maintained awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends through research; reported findings and shared knowledge with the team through well-executed visual presentations at bi-weekly virtual meetings.- Generated 507% traffic increase on website and boosted average duration/time spent on site by 252%.- Attracted 194 unique visits to the LinkedIn page and garnered 65 new followers for a total of 99 followers as well as more than 182 unique visits to the website.- Reached over 5,000 new accounts on Instagram for an 8,097% increase. Brought in 9.9% new followers for a total of 199 followers.

We combine our fandom with insider knowledge to produce the stories fans want and need, catered to each community in esports and gaming.Intern Responsibilities:- Worked in a deadline-driven environment to write esports and gaming content across numerous titles, including Valorant, Overwatch, and Fortnite.- Employed AP-style journalism and search engine optimization best practices in writing to ensure SEO-friendly articles for gaming media franchise.- Authored an in-depth feature piece on Animal Crossing in AP style through the Voltax CMS.
