Practice And Business Manager
Current-Plan, develop and manage day-to-day operations of the practice to ensure operational efficiencies, staff productivity, patient satisfaction, and compliance.-Work with leadership to identify opportunities & shortcomings and then initiate plans for decision-making and problem solving across the organization.-Maintain individual provider credentialing to include CAQH database, professional licenses, DEA, newborn hospital rounding, Medicaid, and any additional provider requirements and specifics.-Directly supervises front desk staff and works closely w/ clinical leads assuring adequate coverage for all providers.-Assures provider schedules are at a level to achieve identified benchmarks and apprises leadership of any issues in regard to achieving clinic benchmarks.-Makes recommendations for staffing levels at the site based on site productivity and patient need. -Assures adequate provider coverage to meet patient needs at all times.-Participates in interviewing, hiring, orientation and onboarding of new staff at the practice.-Assures employee evaluations are completed in a timely manner and appropriate goals are set for all staff supervised.-Provides oversight of bi-weekly employee timesheets and monitors time clock activities.-Address issues raised by physicians, employees, and patients and seek out appropriate leaders or partners to problem solve and process improvement.-Serve as a resource for patient questions regarding billing and financial responsibility.-Works with leadership team to assess improvements made in systems or processes, system efficiency, innovation and creativity as well as commitment to generating new solutions and ideas.-Run, review, and interpret monthly reports for new patients, missing charges, and past due balances and follow up in accordance with office practices.-Assist with marketing related tasks including sponsorships, social media pages, new patient advertising, etc.
