Staying relevant has never been more important in these fast changing times. My career has been centered around the banking and financial industry for the last 15 years. When the year began I started to think more about my career and where I wanted take it from there.I am currently enrolled in my Senior year at University of Texas in Arlington, aiming for a degree in Business Management, BA. However this isn’t my first time attending UTA. When I graduated High School in 2007, I attended UTA from Fall 2007 until Fall 2011. Why the break? You might ask, simply put I was unsure about what I wanted to do. I thought teaching, nursing, and other things that I did not have a full passion for. I decided to just work and see where it leads me. This is how I found my back at UTA. I’ve decided there’s more for me to learn and more for me to do. I want to add a new dimension to my journey and career. I felt that going back and finishing my degree is where I needed to start. Experience is everything, but having a degree to back it is worth so much more. As I embark on this journey I hope to accomplish not only my Bachelor’s degree but as well more knowledge that could potentially excel me into a field of Financial Analysis or Management for not only financial institutions but possibly even centered around my love for the cinemas and films. I enjoy films greatly, but not the final take, the production as well. I’ve always look at movies and thought I know who sets the budget but who helps manage it. That’s the person I aspire to be. My quest for learning and growing continues!
