While studying abroad through the University of Minnesota, I had the opportunity to intern at Tobian Art Gallery in Florence, Italy - a privately owned business focused on highlighting international artists. I assisted in arranging the exhibition space, revitalizing the layouts regularly. I obtained knowledge of pieces, the artists showcased, and salesmanship in regards to tourism. I updated the website regularly with relevant information and new pieces. I designed and sent invitations over email for gallery openings in both Italian and English, and I navigated a language barrier while successfully communicating with coworkers in a foreign country at both the gallery and over Italian-style dinners.
