I enjoy training newly hired employees and ensuring they feel comfortable working in their new roles. Working in the Bank Protection industry, I completed bomb inspections on abandoned vehicles, reduced tension between angry customers, and de-escalated armed threats. Took the lead in crisis situations involving mental illness, individuals struggling with cognitive disorders, and suicide ideology. Gained experience in responding to phone threats, lost persons, and property damage. Interviewed witnesses, perpetrators, and victims of crime. Guarded money transport vehicles, created internal BOLOS, and maintained a courtroom-ready Officers Daily Log. Updated and secured confidential files. Employment, in a high-end jewelry store, taught me situational awareness, non-verbal body language, shrinkage prevention (for items of financial significance), as well as customer service. To me, being in the protective industry has been empowering, healing, and inspiring.
