Many times, I found that students were comfortable asking me questions as not only am I nearer to their age, but because I am approachable, they could be more candid about their confusion. In this TA position, I established a stronger understanding of the chemical concepts covered in lab as the numerous questions asked of me pushed me to contemplate, in depth, the material and specific reactions occurring in each experiment.
