All responsibilities assigned as Director of Insurance in addition to the following: Supervision: Oversee and support Waiver and Insurance/Medicaid Client Coordinators, providing feedback and support as needed.Quality Assurance: Complete biannual Demographics, Discharges, Referrals, and annual Annual Documents reports.Meeting Participation: Attend and serve as Secretary in ABA, CN, OT/ST client coordination meetings, and oversee referral tracking workbooks for departments.Resource: Act as a resource for referral feedback and assistance for Client Coordinators.Issue Handling: Address complaints and inquiries that are not resolved at the first level, involving clinical directors when necessary.Onboarding: Manage client onboarding process for all departments through supervisees and contribute to decisions in client coordination meetings.Portal Oversight: Supervise and manage the BDDS portal through the Waiver Client Coordinator.Referral Management: Support and oversee INS/MCD Client Coordinators in counseling, ABA, OT, and ST referral management.Strategic Planning: Responsible for completing the strategic plan and 12-week workbook for client coordination.Communication: Meet with clinical directors as needed to discuss departmental needs and relay information to the client coordination team.Policy and Procedure: Create and manage Client Coordination-related policies and procedures, presenting new procedures to Leadership and the team.Reporting: Provide Client Coordination updates and bring client coordination-related issues for discussion at monthly Director's meetings.

Operations Oversight: Manage insurance and Medicaid revenue cycle, including contract management, authorizations, denials, billing, and collections.Collaboration: Streamline procedures with various departments for efficient revenue cycles.Leadership: Supervise staff, conduct evaluations, and enforce policies and compliance.Strategic Planning: Develop and monitor goals for payer mix, A/R, and collection rates.Expertise: Stay updated on regulatory requirements for various payers.Controls & Reporting: Maintain internal controls, monitor claims and accounts receivable, and report to upper management.Education & Communication: Educate staff on technology and keep the team informed.Vendor Relations: Collaborate with Managed Care vendors on payer issues and contract negotiations.Ad-Hoc Projects: Handle additional tasks as directed by Administration.

-Verify benefits for services; including confirming authorization requirement, copay/coinsurance, and deductible-Obtain and maintain prior authorizations for 120+ ABA, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy clients-Communicate insurance changes to rendering providers-Collect patient financial responsibility in accordance with EOB-Process denied authorization request, including act as resource for rendering therapist -Maintain Excel workbooks containing units approved and utlized-Serve as team member for Administrative Staff supporting pivot to telehealth services

-Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to individuals with Autism-Record data based off targeted skill programming designed by BCBA-Create specialty programing to aid in social skills activities-Assist with maintenance of records and reports
