Worked full-time with the Foxborough Public School district as a paraprofessional during the 2020 ESY program and the 20-21 school year. In this role, I was primarily working with elementary-aged students in a designated social/emotional classroom. For the last 4 months of the regular school year, I was asked to assume the role as a Lead Teacher under an emergency license to oversee a caseload of severe students that required remote services. The role as Lead Teacher continued through the Extended School Year program before I switched districts after relocating.

Placed in a 2nd grade inclusive classroom with students ranging from EBD, ELLs, and ADHD, which allowed this to be a very diverse environment. During this experience, student teachers are primarily in charge of one subject, by following the mathematics course student teachers use the Envisions course book as well as both PA state standards and Common Core Standards.
