 Charged with developing a new annual giving program to cultivate, solicit and steward annual giftlevel donors as well as building a pipeline for acquisition and identifying major gift donors. Development of program has included expansion of solicitation and stewardship of current donor base in annual appeals, both through direct mail and digital, as well as the development and implementation of a monthly acquisition series targeted to potential grateful patients. Successful program launch and implementation resulted in an increase of 80% across the annual giving appeals and acquisition dollars raised between FY23 and FY24 Collaborate with communication team to develop and implement a fundraising strategy that includes a direct response campaign including digital and direct mail pieces to solicit, steward and engage donors.

 Implemented the strategic fundraising plan of the Wellstar Foundation at Cobb and Windy Hill Hospitals including Team Member Giving, Major Gifts, Grateful Patient program and special events. Developed and implemented strategic plan for capital campaign at Wellstar Cobb Hospital benefitting the emergency department, trauma and burn unit. Duties also included managing volunteer campaign cabinet. Managed volunteer relations including soliciting gifts with Wellstar Foundation board members, Cobb Regional Board members, Cobb Hospital volunteers and Windy Hill volunteers. Served as the Neuro service line lead for the Wellstar Foundation including working with service line leaders to develop fundraising goals, share system-wide fundraising strategies with fellow development officers and working with neuro physicians on engaging grateful patients. The largest gift secured was a $1.1 million estate gift left in a grateful patient’s will. Identify and cultivate planned giving strategies for key major donors, volunteers, and board members.

Develop and implement a fundraising strategy for the non-profit and the three ministries: Out of Darkness, iAM and Metro Kidz. 2016 income goal is $1.53 millionBuild CRM strategy for donors to track engagement and giving trends. Currently building a Salesforce program to track donors, volunteers and clients.Cultivate a donor engagement plan with current and new donors including individuals, corporate, churches and foundations/granters. United Way development officers are charged with achieving the United Way's annual fundraising goal. As a development officer for key accounts, I am charged with managing six of United Way's top accounts with a porfolio of $12.4 million. Those accounts include Publix Super Markets, Kroger, The Coca-Cola Company, The Home Depot, Genuine Parts Compnay and Cox Enterprises.Money raised during the United Way campaign is used to fund projects, programs, iniatives and agencies that are working in the areas of education, income, health and ending chronic homelessness. Development officers manage a campaign cabinet of community leaders who work to engage businesses with United Way by running workplace campaigns and/or giving corporate gifts. This includes businesses that have been engaged with United Way for years and those that are running first time campaigns.

As a reporter, my main stories involved covering the Cobb County and the smaller cities government. As the Marietta Daily Journal is a smaller newspaper, I was also able to write stores in other areas including Lifestyles, Business, Real Estate and features.
