I have always enjoyed working to help educate others. I love to watch students grow as individuals and as learners. I have worked with children for twelve years. I have worked in a school setting for nine years. Three of those years I worked as a before and after care assistant. I was in charge of creating activities for kids, communicating with parents, and working as a member of a team. I resigned before and after care so I could focus on student teaching. After student teaching, I was able to obtain a teacher assistant position with Souderton Area School District. I worked closely with my team to help students who were struggling in classes. Almost a year after starting with Souderton Area School District, I was hired to be a full time Co-Teacher at Gemma Services Silver-Springs Martin Luther School. In 2018, I was given a promotion for a Lead Teaching position. Other experiences I have are ESY positions with Souderton as an assistant, Perkiomen Valley School District as Teacher, and The Pathway School as a Substitute Teacher. Currently I am working as a teacher at Graham Academy. Currently, I am looking to furthering my education and learning more about how to help teachers in the classroom by being a coach. While being a teacher, I noticed that I started to assume that every teacher educator had the same knowledge as myself. While I was working at Martin Luther School, my administration asked if I would start assisting teachers with our new math program. Giving teachers feedback and working to help them was a great feeling and math was always my strength.
