Researches and responds to complex customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues throughout the claim process while providing excellent customer serviceMeets with customers at loss address to inspect and estimate water, smoke and/or fire damage based on the insured’s purchased policyNegotiates and settles claims with insureds and insured’s vendors in accordance with the Department of Insurance regulations and policy limitsWorks closely with emergency service, repair vendors and insureds to mitigate damages and minimize exposure on lossesCollects evidence and information from customer on malfunctioning products responsible for loss to pursue subrogation for recoveryInterprets and educates customer on policy exclusions and endorsements while sending proper documentation to support coverage determinationTrains and mentors new employees on office goals/expectations and procedures for obtaining goals Meets with vendors to educate on company expectations, discuss customer service issues and provide feedback on performance Works closely with Mitigation and repair vendors to limit Additional Living Expense exposure.
