I am currently a Junior pursuing my Bachelor of Science Degree in Event Management at Iowa State University with an emphasis on sporting events, and a minor in Spanish. Throughout my time at Iowa State, I have held several leadership positions that have enabled me to plan various events. For example, I'm the Event Coordinator for Martin Hall and the Activities Director for Winterfest this year, which is one of the largest events at Iowa State. These experiences have equipped me with several leadership skills, such as communication, time management, and adaptability. Throughout these positions, I have also been able to deepen connections with members of the community and develop meaningful relationships. Also, I have positively impacted those around me, which I strive for and enjoy. I'm a happy, enthusiastic person who always has a positive attitude. I strive to make the best out of every situation, even if the situation isn't ideal. My attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills give me an advantage in the event planning world. I am passionate about organizing events and love watching all my hard work come together to produce an event. I genuinely enjoy making other people happy, and seeing their positive reactions to the finished product puts a smile on my face.I'm excited to experience what post-graduation has to offer and excited to make a positive impact wherever I'm at.
