- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Department such as completing Faculty work orders, reviewing correspondence, and collaborating with Department Faculty and University personnel, prospective students, and external stakeholders to further Department objectives. - Support Department programs by compiling event materials, preparing internal and external communications, set-up and clean-up of conference spaces, and coordinating with other University Departments, on-campus organizations, and guest speakers. - Develop and document protocols and procedures, such as those for artifact donation, independent research, student records, lab tours, technical research equipment, and database cataloging, and communicate them to Faculty, colleagues, and incoming Office Assistants. - Identify strategies for Department engagement and support a comprehensive public relations and communication plan by drafting announcements and event invitations, creating presentations, designing visuals for lectures, and producing digital media for course offerings and PR events. - Comply with University regulations on branding and communication, as well as researching vendors for marketing materials and event planning who meet University purchase policies. - Design and develop the Anthropology Department website per Miami University branding standards and regulations for the migration from Cascade CMS 2017 to Cascade CMS 2023, creating a model for other University Departments to follow.

Working with other Independent Study students and a faculty adviser with Miami's 20,000+ artifact collection. Our current focus is on scanning artifacts in order to create 3D models for upload onto a virtual database, to better support virtual learning due to COVID-19. In addition, I am working with the 3D printer to create plastic models of the artifacts, and have experience with Zoom, SketchFab, and Simplify3D among others.

The team saw a 40% increase in athletes trying out the following season.

- Plan and execute training events for 150 people and facilitate over 50 Zoom meetings with 500 pre-assigned breakout rooms. - Interact with research teams, pairing teams, and team leads to coordinate schedules for over 1,150 individuals during Panhellenic recruitment, with extensive use of Google Sheets.- Analyze retention statistics to develop new strategies, policies, and protocol for future recruitments.
