My passion for nutrition began as I studied at The University of Arizona pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences with a Dietetics emphasis. While using my education to work as a Health Coach and Nutrition Educator with Natural Grocers, I discovered a deep interest in agriculture and its vital connection to nutrition and wellness. As I couple my background and experience in Nutrition and Dietetics with an education in Agribusiness at Colorado State University, I will be able to provide a unique perspective of the food systems and improve the health and wellness of communities through improvements to standards and business practices that will promote quality and nutrition in food production while prioritizing the importance of economical, financial, and developmental factors.
