• Confirming CPT and DX codes billed match what was approved by the coders.• Verifying patient eligibility with medical insurance from information on patient charts.• Confirming HMOs and MCOs with Medicare and Medicaid.• Confirming doctor information (NPI and practices allowed to be billed)• Working on programs such as: EZ claim, Spark, Medical Insurance Portals. Noridian, and Availity• Calling insurance companies to confirm denial reasons and rebilling or sending appeals based on claim denial.• Gathering documents for, and submitting appeals.

• Answer incoming calls with varying introductions for individual clients• Fill out incident reports with clients over the phone.• Transfer calls accordingly.• Ensure good communication with team members.
