My career within the entertainment industry began early for me. My interest in professional dancing started when I was ten years old and I began working within the industry pursuing dance gigs in Los Angeles starting at sixteen years old. Along with my dancing, I expanded my career into choreographing and directing for artists’ music videos and creative conceptual performances. Once I started those interests I began modeling and also acting in short films, music videos, web series, commercials, and pilots.The entertainment industry is a broad part of my life, however I have built experience in different professions that involve additional skills and knowledge. Especially skills and knowledge that apply to the assets such as managing, coordinating, flexibility, organization, communication, adaptivity, prioritization, and dependable partner. The different professions that I have collected over the past few years helped me absorb these assets. These professions are working within the restaurant business, teaching different age groups toward school education and sports, using my degree in Marine Biology to have occupations in animal husbandry, Administrative assistance as well as the Assistant Director at a competitive dance studio in Los Angeles, and working as an Executive Assistant for a Production Company in Los Angeles.Marine Biology:While attending Richard Bland College of William & Mary and Orange Coast College, I have had the opportunity to be apart of various oceanography and marine biology research laboratories and teams. By being apart of these labs and teams I have developed a wide range of skills that range from oceanography to marine biology. What I believe is most relevant about me is that I am a team member that has the perspective from utilizing various medical dissecting tools to better understand the organisms in the ocean to technical report writing and data collection.By having worked as an animal and collections safety technician at the California Science Center, I have had the opportunity to work alongside professional marine biologists and aquatic specialists in various exhibits. From this opportunity, I have gained more knowledge and hands on experience working with animals and water laboratory from daily assigned tasks. I believe I am qualified to hold a living collections and aquatics position due to my experience working at the California Science Center as well as the quantity of skills I have acquired throughout my education.
