WorkSafeBC’s Chief Mental Health Officer — the first position of its kind for any workers’ compensation board in Canada. In response to increasing claims due to psychological injuries in the workplace, the initial priority is to devise a broad and innovative evidence-based strategy to support B.C.’s injured workers.

Responsible for strategy of organizational research, and direction of knowledge dissemination initiatives for the marketplace. Consulted with customers on complex cases to improve workplace psychological health and workforce productivity. Worked with internal and external stakeholders to improve outcome initiatives and return on investment. Involved in planning and implementation of evidence-based programs to improve clinical practice, and organizational effectiveness.
