American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act funding is allotted to states to provide a unique opportunity for state and local governments to make strategic investments in long-lived assets, rebuild reserves to enhance financial stability, and cover temporary operating shortfalls until economic conditions and operations normalize.The ARP program in Massachusetts is a statewide, multi-agency effort to increase the employability of MA residents, implementing strategies and processes that provide job seekers with opportunities to secure fulfilling careers in sustainable industries. The ARP Program Manager acts as the liaison between the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development (EOLWD), Commonwealth Corporation and contracted state and local partners who receive ARP funding to provide services to jobseekers and businesses. The ARP Program Manager will work with the Administration, the Secretariat designated point person on ARP funding and oversight, and key stakeholders to assist with the administration of ARP programming, funding and compliance. This includes management of ARP within the Secretariat and as a program manager providing oversight to specific ARP-funded programs.
