As a Communication Studies major at UNC Chapel Hill, I am passionate about creating and delivering meaningful messages that connect with diverse audiences and enhance customer satisfaction. I am expected to graduate in August 2024 with a focus on Interpersonal Relations, which has equipped me with the skills to communicate effectively, empathetically, and persuasively in various contexts and settings.I have applied and developed these skills through my work and internship experiences in the hospitality and entertainment industries. As a barista at Starbucks, I cater to thousands of potential order combinations, ensuring efficiency and guest satisfaction, while creating a positive first-touch guest experience every time the door opens. As a guest experience intern at DPAC, I contributed to the review of show surveys, the organization of presentations, and the delivery of relevant pre-show information, working in a fast-paced environment and using online programs to support the manager. I intend to pursue a career in communications, utilizing my diverse skillset to bring a unique and fresh perspective to my future endeavors.
