I led a group of students enrolled in a senior level course. I assigned weekly projects that have been featured on the Liberty University social media pages. I edited, graded and gave feedback on each assignment.

I assisted a professor in the communication department with his senior level class. I created PowerPoints, edited and graded work.

I have worked to help launch a Pinterest account for the School of Communication. Conducted interviews and taken photograph's that have been featured on the Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and blog. Assisted in creating the first budgeted School of Communication event called, Social Scavenger's. Social Scavenger's was a scavenger hunt around the city of Lynchburg using social media. I was able to collect $800 worth of donated prizes and food, received donated music from a local radio station, tents, two featured articles in the paper and one television spot.

I blog on a weekly basis about topics such as career, music, movies and television on the Media Hope page. Along with the weekly blogs, I help to maintain their current Facebook page.

I assisted the marketing director at a local nonprofit children's museum in planning, running social media, updated their mailing list in Altru, advertising, updated local calendars, skilled writing (press releases, newsletter and e-newsletters) and on-site managing for five large community events in Lynchburg, Virginia. Some examples: The 12th Annual Amazing Mile Children's Run and Family Festival. 750 children took their marks and more than 4,000 attended the festival. The Ugly Bug Ball and Auction was a 21+ event in October 2012. The live auction raised an event record total of $40k. The event consisted of a band, sit-down dinner and a night of dancing in costumes.

Conducted interviews weekly with student athletes, professor's, coaches and people of the community for the Liberty newspaper. I had articles published on interviews I had with Bill Gillespie, Bruce Kirk, Jake Grove and many more.*Gillespie holds 44 records and over 20 world champion titles. He is a former member of the Seattle Seahawks coaching staff; and now serves as the strength and conditioning coach at Liberty University. Gillespie is also the strongest man of all time over the age of 50.*Bruce Kirk is a 5- time Emmy winner for his work in broadcast television and has interviewed two sitting U.S. President's and two non-sitting U.S. President's.* Jake Grove is a retired NFL center.

I greeted and served guests daily. Working with the public has granted me firm communication skills and patience.
