Here’s a question I ask a lot in my profession, “What’s your go to cocktail?” 🍹Years ago, every Friday night I would host my friends and try out different cocktail recipes on them. I would spend hours reading everything there was to know about cocktails, from various sugars and ice to temperature, dilution, and the history of classic cocktails. I was obsessed. I perfected my cocktails and learned that mixology is both an art and a science. An art because of the spark of creativity I get to create something unique and a science because it requires experimentation and precision. My friends would constantly tell me to start my own cocktail company until one day I finally did! Here we are 12 years later: I own and operate MTL Craft Cocktails.I offer:👉 Mixology classes: whether it’s professional (team building event at a company) or personal (bachelorettes/birthday parties), I teach you how to make a distinct cocktail, in person or virtually. 👉 Bar service: personalized cocktails catered for corporate events or weddings, engagements, and showers. 👉 Cocktail kits: everything you need to make a fun cocktail, delivered to your door. At this point, you might be wondering what makes me different from the sea of mixologists out there? Well, here are a few reasons:✅ All of my syrups are homemade. Yes, that orgeat syrup that I use in the mai tais takes four hours to create! I have to toast the almonds then extract them to make the syrup. ✅ I make classic cocktails & offer original creations (like the smokey colada, lavender fizz, and orange is the new black). ✅ I offer a turnkey service — I’ll bring the bar, glassware, and accessories so all my client has to worry about is enjoying a delicious cocktail. ✅ I really listen to what my clients want and work with them to create a signature list of customized cocktails. ❤️ Ultimately, my satisfaction comes from witnessing people’s happiest moments, from weddings and birthday parties to bonding with their coworkers.
