Vice PresidentUmass Asian American Student Association (Aasa) May 2021 - May 2022Amherst, Ma, UsAs Vice President, I was tasked with the role of internal affairs. This meant resolving interpersonal conflicts within the executive board and ensuring strong team cohesion. I introduced an anonymous feedback form for executive board members to voice any issues they were having with other executive board members or any feedback they had for how the board was run in general. I also planned board retreats with teamwork activities to strengthen team bonding. The last duty I fulfilled in the vice presidency was to lead the following year's executive board election. I redeveloped the election system to be more efficient and unbiased after hearing feedback about how prior leadership had led elections. -
TreasurerUmass Asian American Student Association (Aasa) May 2020 - May 2021Amherst, Ma, UsAs treasurer, I recorded and overaw all inflow and outflow of the organization's funds. I authorized the use of both our annual fee account and accumulated revenue account to purchase event materials and to book guest artists. My largest task was to write and submit the following fiscal year's budget request to the Student Government Association. I collected historical financial data and projected how much the organization would spend on each event in the following year. Our FY2022 was the most thorough budget request we have completed in the past and asked for over $65,000. -
Co-Media ChairUmass Asian American Student Association (Aasa) May 2019 - May 2020Amherst, Ma, UsAs a co-media chair, I was in charge of drafting and designing the annual AASA magazine publication. In it, I showcased artwork from Asian American students, ranging from photography to poetry, and promoted other cultural organizations on campus. I collected submissions and compiled them into the magazine using Adobe Photoshop CC. Aside from the magazine, my duties also included photographing our events, as well as managing the Instagram account to schedule promotional materials. -

As a co-publicist, I designed promotional materials, such as social media content, flyers, and t-shirts using Photoshop CC. Digital Marketing DeveloperHomesite Insurance Sep 2020 - Jan 2022Boston, Ma, UsAs a part-time digital marketing developer, I documented all the programs the team sends, including chase (marketing) emails, transactional (operational) emails, and ad hoc emails. I created Confluence pages explaining the current partners who use the program and the products each partner sells. I then collected proofs of the current emails and constructed PowerPoint decks to upload onto the Confluence pages, ensuring the team had the most updated branding and copy information for any further development to a program. Through Salesforce Marketing Cloud, I also used SQL to filter data extensions so I may test-send specific emails for QA and proofing. -
Junior Email Developer InternHomesite Insurance Jun 2020 - Aug 2020Boston, Ma, UsAs a junior email developer intern, I researched current popular email trends to present to my manager and consolidated stock images for the team to use on redesigned emails. Using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, I uploaded new branding and copy tables for the redesigns. I prevented emails with errors from going live by performing quality assurance on them. And after QA, I organized Excel sheets with Litmus links, showing email proofs, to send to partners for confirmation. During the internship, I also won first place in a community investment Share Tank competition against over 100 other interns. My Share Tank team championed 3Keys in the Atlanta Metro and won $1250 for the non-profit. -
Creative Team MemberUmass Adlab Sep 2019 - Jan 2022Amherst, Massachusetts, UsMy first project at UMass AdLab was to design materials to increase brand awareness of UMass AdLab itself toward student entrepreneurs. I designed a brochure in Adobe Photoshop and wrote the copy for the brochure. These brochures were displayed at the Berthiaume Center for Entrepreneurship to inform entrepreneurs of what AdLab was and how its services could help with their new business ideas. The second engagement I was on was with a startup app made by Isenberg students called ClassMate. It was a student assistant app that helped with time management and scheduling. I solidified their brand style and tone by designing Instagram graphics for them as well as writing the captions to each corresponding post. -
Assistant Arts EditorThe Massachusetts Daily Collegian Sep 2019 - Dec 2020Amherst, Massachusetts, UsThe Massachusetts Daily Collegian is a student-run newspaper of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I wrote and edited articles for the Arts & Living section of the newspaper, which consisted of media analysis as well as their societal impact. I consistently met deadlines and edited other writers' stories to adhere to the AP style guidelines. The Massachusetts Daily Collegian publishes daily on their website and in print once every month. System Administrator InternHomesite Insurance Jun 2019 - Aug 2019Boston, Ma, UsHomesite Insurance is one of the fastest-growing insurance companies, using technology to make it easier and quicker to buy insurance. As a system administrator intern, the main project I worked on was the migration of the company's email system from Exchange 2010 to Office 365. I located inactive mailboxes and disabled them using Windows PowerShell, clearing the system of excess data, and wrote scripts to extract metadata on all mailboxes. I also wrote documentation on how to perform certain administrative actions in Office 365 and Exchange for those employees not on the Office 365 project. -
Website InternBraintree Town Hall Mayor'S Office Jun 2018 - Aug 2018The Braintree Town Hall was undergoing a technological transition, updating its presence online as well as across social media platforms. As a website intern, I helped develop new webpages and migrate data from the older town website over onto our new platform with CivicPlus's web design software, as well as some basic HTML/CSS. I also answered constituents' calls and expedited the process to resolve their issues by directing them to the appropriate department.
