Film Industry: I was a location production assistant in Atlanta, Georgia I was familiar with different districts and their representatives because we were filming in those communities. We were able to minimize the negative eco-footprint a large crew can leave. We scouted locations within high and low income areas and negotiated contracts to utilize space for filming. I will always remember the time I spent there to be where I learned crisis management, onsite administration and community outreach relations. Education: I was a long term substitute teacher from January of 2013 until now, and it’s been one of the most rewarding experiences to date. I primarily worked at Mount Vernon Community School and amassed nine long term duties in the process. I familiarized myself with each curriculum so that in the event that I was asked to take over a classroom, I could do my job to the best of my ability. Situations include pregnancies, early retirements, terminations, and I have also stepped in to coach new teachers from time to time. I’ve supported classrooms and administrators, coordinated statewide tests, and assisted with office needs.
