This role involves following the institution's guidelines while organizing social events. University Relations chair ensures compliance with school policies and fosters positive relationships with students, faculty, and staff. The chair plans a variety of engaging activities that creates a vibrant and inclusive experience.

Work with the pledge educator by developing and delivering engaging content in order to facilitate the learning process for pledges of our fraternity. Primary responsibility is to assist in education pledges about the values, principles, and practices of the fraternity. Ensure a comprehensive and enriching experience to pledges as they transition to active.

Planning, organizing and overseeing Fraternity recruitment: Assisting in diversity & inclusion efforts and marketing strategy related to recruitment, managing and working alongside a team of voting delegates, adapting and implementing an interview process, conducting interviews, and creating and maintaining an overall welcoming and structured environment.

Responsible for the upkeep of three social sites, approving new member requests, and sending out Outlook invitations for events.

Responsible for interviewing 30+ prospects and presenting information to 90+ Brothers of the Fraternity.

Report to the St. Thomas E-Learning and Research (STELAR) team and work collaboratively with Instructional Designers to build courses in our Learning Management System (LMS), Canvas. Ensure consistency of course presentation by following course development guidelines and providing consistent content entry.
