Where I am:I am the Assistant Director of Recreation and Operations at Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles. Here, I manage facility and recreation student staff supervision and advising, day-to-day facility operations, and recreation programming. I am pursuing my Graduate education in the MS in Counseling Psychology Program, also at the Mount. Where I have been: I am a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in psychology and a minor in Education. Outside of my coursework, I spent my time building skills in Advising and Mentoring, DEI, and Community Outreach and Engagement through my work at the Institute of Governmental Studies at UC Berkeley, the City of Los Ángeles, Department of Recreation and Parks, as a literacy mentor with BUILD, and work on campus as a fit staff, as well as volunteering time at the nonprofit Camp Kesem, Berkeley.Where I am going: As I advance in my professional career in higher education, my goals are to further involve myself in student development and mentorship through a lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
