Ashley has 10+ years of experience professionally helping people get hired and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Old Dominion University. She started her career at a leading provider of recruiting and staffing services working in full cycle recruitment, business development, sales and customer service. She has guided both employers and qualified candidates into fulfilling over 1,000 job roles with a wide variety of industries not limited to business services, financial services, construction, government contracting and other corporate headquarters skillsets. Next, Ashley moved into a role in the non-profit space helping an elite group of military members determine their next career once leaving active duty. She has had the opportunity to help steer these individuals into corporate careers, graduate school and even start their own businesses. Her passion for professionally developing others to be better business professionals led her to starting Guided Confident Careers.Ashley is recognized as a 2024 CoVa BIZ Next Gen Awards honoree, representing some of the region’s most dynamic and successful young professionals. She was chosen for demonstrated excellence in her professional endeavors, and for the significant contributions she's made to the broader community.Ashley is from the Greater Baltimore area and now currently resides in Virginia Beach. For fun Ashley loves relaxing on the beach, practicing yoga, traveling (especially to Key West!) and taking her German Shepherd Mix, Natty Boh everywhere she goes.
