As the Associate Director of Student Success, my goal was to improve student outcomes and retention by providing academic assistance/enrichment opportunities and career services through our Student Success Center. I proactively reached out to students who were at risk academically and/or for other reasons. I assisted students with disabilities and helped to provide the accommodations that they needed for their coursework. I coordinated our on-campus peer tutoring program to connect students to the academic support they needed. In addition, I was a course developer and co-instructor for the Senior Portfolio course which helped to prepare seniors for their transition out of college. I worked directly with a cohort of 25 students to mentor them through the development of their career portfolios. I provided Academic Advising services to at-risk students.As a Resident Director, I supervised a women's residence hall and engaged students through relationship-building, mentoring, and co-curricular programming. I was involved in the hiring, training, and supervision of the RA staff with 4 members reporting to me directly.

As the Director of Residence Life, I managed housing operations campus-wide. I led efforts to recruit, hire, and train professional and student staff members and had 3 professional staff members and 4 student leaders reporting to me. I oversaw the housing budget and co-curricular program planning. I developed new housing processes and policies in the best interest of students and the institution. In addition, I assisted the Vice President of Student Life with student disciplinary processes and served on the Judicial Affairs Committee.

As the Assistant Director of Student Success, my goal was to improve retention and student outcomes by providing academic assistance/enrichment opportunities and career services through our Student Success Center. In addition, I served on the Accreditation Committee which assisted with the process of renewing the accreditation status for our institution.
