In September 2023, I joined Hatmill as a consultant, where I aim to implement my knowledge gained at university, as well as existing skills to help organisations adapt and improve their supply chains.I graduated with a degree in Business Management from the University of Sheffield in July 2023. Prior to university, I worked in the logistics field providing customer relations and data analysis. I have an interest in Supply Chain and Logistics, enjoying problem solving and helping businesses grow.My degree also included a 12 month Industrial Placement at GSK in Supply Chain working within the External Supply sector. I gained experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team working alongside many departments to maintain ongoing relationships. One of my main tasks was to deliver a new way of working to drive efficiency and create more robust and effective communications between GSK and the supplier. This was delivered on time and received exemplary feedback from all stakeholders. I was responsible for training new users on how to find data and maintaining this platform to ensure it was kept up to date with the most relevant data.Going to university in my mid twenties has allowed me to obtain 8 years work experience in the logistics field, working in verbal and written communications and data analysis. Pairing this experience with the knowledge I will gain from my degree course, I am looking forward to implementing my abilities into a new career.
