I completed the entire retail baking process from start to finish. First I prepared ingredients and raw materials by measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients to later be processed according to recipes and production schedules. Next, I operated food processing equipment, such as mixers, ovens, and packaging machines while ensuring that machinery is set up properly and safely. Simultaneously, I monitored the food production process to ensure that food meets quality standards and regulatory requirements through visual inspections, adhering the hygiene and sanitation protocols. Then, I operated an oven by recalling baking times and temperatures as well as being on alert for the chime when baking time was up. Lastly, I packaged finished food products according to specifications, including proper labeling with accurate expiration dates, nutritional information, and ingredients and packaging for distribution

My responsibilities as a sales associate included overseeing the organization and fullness of the sales floor. I cleaned, reorganized, and folded apparel, footwear, and accessories. Additionally, I operated a register to complete transactions of apparel, gift cards, returns, and even and uneven exchanges. My interactions with customers included greeting and saluting customers upon arrival and leaving, answering inquiries, utilizing the online site to purchase items not in-store, and dressing room interactions.

As a server, I provided excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders accurately, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the dining experience. I possessed in-depth knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials needed to provide detailed descriptions of menu items to guests. Moreover, I upsold menu items, promotions, and specials to proactively increase sales and suggest additional food or beverage options to enhance the dining experience for guests. To ensure cohesive dining flow, I collaborated with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure efficient and smooth service by communicating effectively to coordinate food delivery and address any customer concerns or requests.

As a bakery associate, I was working with a team of 4 to 5 people to serve customers in a satisfactory and pleasant manner by answering inquiries, serving products, and placing special orders. When not serving customers, I worked to prepare and package pre-made desserts to put out for purchasing as needed. At times, I worked as the closing supervisor for the bakery department in which I supervised and ensured a shift of 4-5 people closed the department to be ready for the morning shift. This included cleaning the inside and outside of display cases, restocking all products on sales floor and display case, throwing out expired products, and condensing trays or products to use minimal space.

As a snack bar attendant, I worked to stock and sell a variety of snacks, candy, and beverages to pool members. Additionally, I dealt with payment processing and operating the cash register while maintaining accountability for the influx of money. I greeted guests warmly as they entered and exited the pool while also answering any questions they might of had.
