I am a recent first-generation graduate of UIUC with a Bachelor’s degree in English. Transitioning from college I decided to focus on improving my sense of leadership and communication skills by taking on the higher position of a manager within a fast food restaurant. Being able to push myself to take on roles that seem impossible pushed the confidence to become a part of the COOP community, where I am currently a Digital Marketing apprentice. With this internship, I am gaining overall knowledge of digital marketing tactics and systems that would allow me to not only increase my network but also allow me to fully immerse myself in the opportunities of the marketing world.
