Manage moderate and high complexity laboratories within the Cherokee Nation Health System. This system currently has (1) hospital, (8) rural health clinics, (1) employee health clinic, and (1) 469k sqft Outpatient Health Center that is the hub of our health system. This facility includes primary care, resident programs, dental, behavioral health, infectious disease, optometry, women's health, pediatrics and many other specialty groups. All laboratories are licensed by CLIA and are in good standing with either the COLA or CAP groups.The Senior Director in Laboratory role currently performs instrument acquisitions, standardization between facilities, management of laboratory personnel, assists in ensuring accrediting standards are met, oversees contracts for reference laboratory and pathology services and contracts for instruments & consumables. This role also works with the providers & other healthcare professionals within the system to better the interactions and workflow between the laboratory and specific clinic areas.
