As the Sr Beta Community Specialist at TomTom my tasks and responsibilities include:• In charge of running and coordinating the Beta testing program for our sports wearables:- Engaging with Beta community members across the world on a daily basis. Providing them with technical support- Recruiting new Beta community members • Liaising between the Beta Community and the project managers and developers at TomTom to further influence and improve product development: - Presenting TomTom with feedback results from the Beta testing program- Relaying information, requests and questions from TomTom back to the Beta community• Organising and coordinating the setup of a new SaaS platform for the Beta community• Supporting the test engineers in the Alpha testing phase of our products

SAVE Volunteering is part of SAVE Foundation, a registered non-profit organisation. Their work involves setting up and running sustainable community and conservation development projects throughout Africa.During my time at SAVE I set up and ran an after school Skateboard Club for local underprivileged children, which is still running successfully today. International volunteers come to Cape Town and assist in teaching the children numerous life skills and boosting their confidence through Skateboarding.As a marketing intern, I was responsible for all marketing tasks.
