Otolaryngology Head And Neck Surgery (Ohns) Physician Assistant
Current•Primary on-call liaison for Otolaryngology, Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery responding to inpatient and emergent consults. Support 15 physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers within the department, responding to 30+ new consults each week with 50+ inpatient encounters allowing Physicians to continue outpatient clinic without interruption.• Perform bedside procedures to include flexible rhinolaryngoscopy, tracheoscopy, tracheostomy care and tube exchanges, ear debridement, foreign body removal, acute stabilization of oral and nasal hemorrhages, abscess incision and drainage and biopsies, airway evaluations and stabilization. Certified First Assist specializing in tracheostomies. • Perform bedside procedures to include flexible rhinolaryngoscopy, tracheoscopy, tracheostomy care and tube exchanges, ear debridement, acute stabilization of oral and nasal hemorrhages, assist in abscess incision and drainage and biopsies, percutaneous tracheostomies, airway evaluations and stabilization.
