Responsibilities included: assisting full time veterinarians as well as the technicians with several tasks including but not limited to surgery preparation, blood work, seeing clients, microscopy of samples, animal care take, customer service, administration of vaccinations, drawing blood, various computer work, office and kennel upkeep, and light cleaning.

Responsibilities included: full intake examination and vaccination on every animal, dispensing medications, running fecal samples, vaccinations and microchips for public animals, triage of all shelter animal's needs, customer service, supervise animal interactions, transportation of animals, transfer coordination to other shelters and rescues and facilitating adoptions

This position asked me to greet each new student and show the students around CSU-P as well introduce them to the clubs and activities around campus. In order to fulfill this task, excellent people skills, knowledge of campus/community, and an understanding of various undergraduate courses was essential.
