CurrentPlan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate math and science lessons that align with grade-level standards and foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning skills. Provide comprehensive instruction in the Spanish language, including vocabulary development, grammar, reading, writing, and oral communication skills, to support students in becoming proficient bilingual learners. Integrate math, science, and Spanish language instruction to create interdisciplinary learning experiences that promote connections between subjects and deepen students' understanding of concepts and content. Incorporate culturally relevant teaching practices and resources that reflect the diverse backgrounds and experiences of students, and foster a positive sense of cultural identity and pride. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs, abilities, and interests of students, including English language learners and students with varying levels of proficiency in Spanish and English. Adapt and customize a Spanish curriculum to meet the specific needs and language proficiency levels of students, utilizing a district-acquired program. Use a variety of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor student progress, analyze data to inform instructional decisions, and provide targeted support or enrichment as needed. Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents and families through regular communication, and opportunities for involvement in their child's education and language development. Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to plan and deliver effective instruction, share best practices, and support the overall success of the dual language program. Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, deepen content knowledge, and stay current on research-based practices in dual language education.
